Terms of Service
Last updated: 19/8/26
1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Caliora online store at shopcaliora.com (the "Website"), and any purchase of products or services from us.
1.2 Caliora ("Caliora", "we", "us" or "our") is established in the United Kingdom. Our Website is operated using the Shopify e-commerce platform.
1.3 Our contact details are:
- Email: info@shopcaliora.com
1.4 By accessing the Website, placing an order or otherwise interacting with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or purchase our products.
1.5 These Terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy, Returns and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Purchase Options Cancellation Policy and Legal Notice. Where there is a conflict, these Terms will generally prevail except where consumer protection law provides otherwise.
2. Eligibility
2.1 You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to place an order on the Website.
2.2 By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide is accurate, current and complete.
2.3 We reserve the right to refuse access to the Website or to cancel orders where we reasonably believe these conditions are not met.
3. Your Account
3.1 You may create an account on the Website to manage your orders, subscriptions and preferences. Creating an account is optional for one-off purchases but may be required for subscription services.
3.2 You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and confidential, and for all activity conducted under your account.
3.3 You must notify us promptly at info@shopcaliora.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
3.4 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are used in breach of these Terms, or where we reasonably suspect fraudulent or abusive activity.
4. Orders and Contract Formation
4.1 Product listings on the Website are an invitation to treat and do not constitute a binding offer.
4.2 When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase the selected products in accordance with these Terms.
4.3 After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt. This acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance of your order.
4.4 A legally binding contract between you and Caliora is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email confirming acceptance and/or when we dispatch the products to you.
4.5 We may refuse or cancel an order for any reason, including but not limited to: the product being out of stock or discontinued; inability to obtain payment authorisation; errors in pricing or product description; or where we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
4.6 If we cannot accept your order, we will inform you where possible and refund any payment already taken as soon as reasonably practicable.
5. Product Information
5.1 We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, images and other information on the Website are accurate and up to date. However, colours and appearance may vary slightly from how they appear on your screen due to your device settings.
5.2 All weights, measurements and capacities are approximate unless stated otherwise.
5.3 We reserve the right to modify, discontinue or update products at any time without prior notice. Any such changes will not affect orders we have already accepted.
6. Prices and Payment
6.1 All prices displayed on the Website are in the currency shown at checkout and include any applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.
6.2 Delivery charges, if applicable, will be clearly displayed during checkout and added to your total before you submit your order.
6.3 We may change prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that we have already accepted.
6.4 Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout, which may include credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna and other providers. By providing payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.
6.5 If you choose to pay using Klarna or another buy-now-pay-later service, your use of that service is subject to Klarna's (or the relevant provider's) own terms and conditions, which are separate from these Terms. Caliora is not responsible for any fees, interest or other charges that may apply under those third-party payment agreements.
6.6 If a pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could reasonably have been recognised as a mispricing, we are not obliged to provide products at the incorrect price even after sending an order confirmation, and we may cancel the order and refund any amounts paid.
7. Subscriptions and Recurring Orders
7.1 Certain products may be available on a subscription basis, providing you with repeat deliveries at a frequency you select during checkout (the "Subscription").
7.2 By placing a Subscription order, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis at the interval and price confirmed at checkout, until you cancel.
7.3 Your payment details will be stored securely by our payment processor. You will be charged for each scheduled delivery unless you cancel, pause or modify your Subscription before the next billing date.
7.4 We will send you a reminder email before each Subscription renewal is processed. If you do not wish to receive the next delivery, you must cancel or pause your Subscription before the billing date stated in the reminder.
7.5 You may cancel, pause, skip or modify your Subscription at any time by logging into your account on the Website or by emailing us at info@shopcaliora.com. Cancellation is free of charge and takes effect from the next billing cycle. No refunds will be issued for deliveries already dispatched unless the product is faulty, damaged or misdescribed.
7.6 We reserve the right to change the price of Subscription products. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before any price change takes effect. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel your Subscription before the change takes effect.
7.7 We may discontinue a Subscription product at any time. If we do so, we will notify you and will not charge you for any future deliveries.
7.8 Your statutory rights, including any applicable right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, are not affected by this section.
8. Delivery
8.1 We currently deliver to the United Kingdom and Sweden. We may update our delivery destinations at any time.
8.2 We will deliver products to the address you provide during checkout. You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address and contact details are accurate and complete.
8.3 Delivery times and options will be indicated at checkout. Any delivery dates or timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
8.4 Risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you when the products are delivered to the address you provided.
8.5 Ownership of the products passes to you once we have received full payment.
8.6 For full details on shipping methods, timeframes and fees, please refer to our Shipping Policy.
9. Your Right to Cancel (Statutory Cooling-Off Period)
9.1 If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or Sweden purchasing from us online, you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.
9.2 The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a person you have nominated, receives the goods. For Subscription orders, this right applies to each delivery.
9.3 To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement, for example by emailing info@shopcaliora.com with your order number and a statement that you wish to cancel.
9.4 If you cancel within the 14-day period, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery (if applicable). We may deduct the cost of return shipping from the refund unless we have agreed to cover it, or unless the product is faulty, damaged or misdescribed.
9.5 You must send the goods back to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us of your cancellation. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless we state otherwise.
9.6 We will process the refund without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days after we receive the returned goods or you provide evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier.
9.7 For full details on how to return products and our refund procedures, please refer to our Returns and Refund Policy.
10. Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
10.1 In addition to your statutory cancellation rights described in section 9, our separate Returns and Refund Policy explains how we handle returns, exchanges and refunds, including for faulty, damaged or misdescribed products.
10.2 Nothing in these Terms limits or affects your statutory rights under UK or Swedish consumer law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (Konsumentköplagen).
11. Acceptable Use of the Website
11.1 You agree not to use the Website for any unlawful, fraudulent or malicious purpose; to transmit viruses, malware or other harmful code; to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; to infringe the rights of others; or to send unsolicited advertising or spam.
11.2 You must not use any automated system (including bots, scrapers or crawlers) to access the Website without our prior written consent, except for standard search engine indexing.
11.3 We may monitor use of the Website and take appropriate action, including restricting or terminating access, if we believe these Terms are being breached.
12. Intellectual Property
12.1 All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, product designs, videos, icons and software, is owned by or licensed to Caliora and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
12.2 You may access and view content on the Website for your personal, non-commercial use only.
12.3 You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, publish, exploit or create derivative works from any part of the Website or its content without our prior written permission, except as permitted by law.
12.4 "Caliora" and any associated logos or marks are our trademarks or are used under licence. You may not use them without our written consent.
13. Reviews, Comments and User Content
13.1 If the Website allows you to submit reviews, comments, photos or other content ("User Content"), you are responsible for ensuring that it is lawful, accurate and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
13.2 By submitting User Content, you grant Caliora a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, translate, distribute and display such content in connection with our business, including on the Website and in marketing materials.
13.3 We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor, edit or remove User Content that we consider unlawful, offensive, misleading or in breach of these Terms.
14. Liability
14.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
14.2 If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
14.3 We are not responsible for delays or failures to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemics, disruption of transport or communications networks, or actions by government or regulatory authorities.
14.4 We do not exclude or limit liability for products that are not of satisfactory quality or not fit for purpose, where such exclusion would be unlawful. Your statutory rights are not affected.
15. Business Customers
15.1 This section applies if you are a business customer acting in the course of business rather than as a consumer.
15.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied terms, conditions, warranties and representations are excluded, and we will not be liable for any loss of profits, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, loss of business opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss.
15.3 Our total liability to you for all losses arising out of or in connection with any contract between us will not exceed the amount you paid for the products in question.
16. Privacy and Data Protection
16.1 We will use your personal information only as set out in our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your data.
16.2 Our Website is hosted on the Shopify platform. When you use the Website, certain personal information may be collected and processed by Shopify on our behalf and in accordance with Shopify's own privacy practices. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details.
17. Third-Party Links
17.1 The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices and do not endorse them. You access such sites at your own risk.
18. Changes to These Terms
18.1 We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, products, legal requirements or operational needs.
18.2 The updated Terms will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. The version in force at the time you place an order applies to that order.
18.3 Your continued use of the Website after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
19. Severability
19.1 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable by a court or other authority, that provision will be deemed severed and will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
20. Waiver
20.1 Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
21. Entire Agreement
21.1 These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Returns and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Purchase Options Cancellation Policy and Legal Notice, constitute the entire agreement between you and Caliora regarding your use of the Website and purchase of products, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
